E5 The Jesus You Need to See | Revelation 1 with Pastor Ethan Crowder & Casey Sherman

Revelation isn't meant to scare you. It's meant to encourage you.

Pastor Ethan and Worship Pastor Casey Sherman sit down to unpack Revelation 1 — the vision John receives of Jesus with eyes like flame, hair like wool, and a voice like rushing water. They talk about why this book gets a reputation for mystery and fear, what it actually means to be "blessed" by reading and keeping it, and the one truth that should anchor how we read the rest of the book: Jesus wins.

They also share some study resources for anyone wanting to dig into Revelation on their own, and a first look at Central's trip to visit the seven churches of Revelation in October 2027.

Study resources mentioned:

ESV Study Bible Zondervan NIV Biblical Theology Study Bible (ed. D.A. Carson)

Preach the Word: Revelation - Jim Hamilton The Time Is Near - John MacArthur ESV Expository Commentary: Revelation - Tom Schreiner

Commentary on Revelation - George Eldon Ladd
